    My parents enjoyed this "Treasure" gift!! - Cute treasure box was bigger than expected - was worried about fruit freezing during travel as the temps were quite cold but all was perfectly fine - took an extra day and arrived after dark but all was good - my parents enjoyed finding all the wonderful goodies inside as well as the box itself with its cute buckle straps and key. Will probably order from this company again - this item was cheaper than having flowers delivered from my local florist!! Thank you Gift Tree!

    Looking for a healthy alternative for my Mom's birthday, with something other than standard tins, or baskets. This little treasure chest was perfect. She really likes it (along with the snacks), and although I haven't seen it, she says it's nice and sturdy.
    
    I will say that an added "pork" item was in this arrangement, that's not listed, and I've received no response to my inquiry as to why there was an additional ingredient, and if I could trust that all the other listed ingredients were in fact present.

    I sent this Gourmet Treasure basket to my son for Easter who is living in the midst of the NYC pandemic right now. He loved the fruit and all the goodies and said it was of the highest quality! He always travels a lot and said he will keep the chest to keep mementos in from all the places he visits because it is so nice. This is at least my 6th basket I have sent out to family in the past couple years and Gift Tree never fails to impress!!!     Why is everyone calling this a "basket" ? It is NOT a "basket", it is a Pirate's Treasure Chest ! L O L ! I bought this a few years ago, and have kept it on display in my foyer's entryway. It is beautiful, and I keep water bottles in it. Unfortunately, it is now showing wear and tear, as one of the front buckles has fallen off, so I am online now to order another one. I like Gift Tree more than the other fruit companies, because when you get to checkout, you are not hit with additional charges that make the price so much higher than what you were originally told. I hate when that happens ! So order this, and enjoy ! ( yes, the fruit is good, too )

    I read so many great reviews about this website so thought I would order a basket for my friend who recently had a baby. The basket was delivered on time according to the tracking information, but they just left it on the doorstep. Because they go in and out through the garage, they didn't even see the basket until the next day after I asked her about it. She said it was beautifully wrapped, but I can't attest to its condition after sitting outside for 24 hours in the blazing Florida heat. Delivery should require a signature, or at least verification that someone actually received it rather than just drop it and leave. I had wanted it to be a surprise, but I guess from now on if I send a basket I need to tell the recipient to expect a delivery. I suppose that was an error on my part which is why I only took away 1 star.

    This gift was purchased by another co-worker and myself for another co-worker who lost his Mom. This man is very kind, intelligent and helpful to everyone, yet shows no emotion. When he arrived home, he could not understand what he had purchased and delivered through FEDEX. Well, he got the package and told me how greatly surprised he was and was brought to tears.     This time I ordered a birthday gift for my son, but it didn't come on the date of his birthday. Fed Ex messed up everything! This gift was delivered three days from the time I completed my order. It was suppose to be delivered over night.
    Their customer service manager is a real lady manager! Her words made my disappointment fade a way.
    On top of that I got credit back! Full refund!!!

    This gift treasure chest really helped lift a friends spirit after her surgery. It was especially nice for her since I could personalize the Treasure Chest with her name on the gold plated tag.     I gave this gift basket to my dearest friend that just lost her man , and like me , a new young widow. My friend, her immediate family and fellow church members just could not get over how thoughtfully presented , and with such variety of items in good taste (and fresh) everything was. The memorial trunk was well made and will be forever cherished. Although I have not seen it yet, the special added touches that were not even advertised were so appreciated. There is no way that this gift basket could have been any better.
