      Took a chance that my friend, who because of covid became a widow this year, would be happy with my choice. In general, she is a little hard to please. She absolutely loved it! Indeed, I think she liked the box as much as its contents.

      I ordered it near Christmas and proceeded to stress that with all the delays in delivery during this time, it would not arrive in time. It actually came in ahead of the predicted delivery date.

      Double win! Totally pleased.

      This was purchased for a Christmas gift exchange so we had CHRISTMAS 2012 engraved on the box. Everything about it is wonderful - and such a great value for the price. The recipient loved it - and although they thought they might pass it along to someone who loves nutcrackers, their 4 year old was busy cracking nuts by the next morning and loving it too much to see it leave the house. It will be a cherished gift for years to come.
